Dear Brenda & Robert
When Bob came into our lives, We were in awe over this incredible person. He was an amazing guy who was so vibrant and so positive all the time. When he joined the Cornwall Handi-Social Club he gave our club such a boost with his big heart, his hearty laugh and catchy smile and of course his great voice. Anytime an activity was suggested, Bob was one of the first to say... GREAT ....SOUNDS LIKE FUN ...I'M IN!!!
You could always count on him to get our Karaoke night going, and of course the Cornwall Handi-Social Club web site is all thanks to the hard work of Bob.
Many of our members with disabilities have learned through Bob's positive attitude that you have to deal with what you have and make the best of it. We'd like to thank you, Brenda and Bob Sr. for doing such an unbelievable job raising your son and thank you so much for sharing Bob with us. We all loved Bob so very much and We know he loved us all in return. He never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything and that again just shows us what an amazing individual he was and how proud you, his parents must be of him.
Bob's bear hugs and handshakes won't be felt anymore but his spirit and his love for us all will remain with us always. We promise to each hold onto a piece of Bob in our hearts so that he can continue with us on this journey as a lifetime member of our club.
As Julie pointed out the other night ...one of Bob's favorite saying was ...Always remembering to say thanks; that's a piece of heaven on earth...
So to you Bob ....Thanks.
